general j7.is, the wedge that provides comfort Jun 9, 2026
Organizing your technology, each individual complexity plugged together, some more important than others, some require more juice, but all plugged into one strip. Imagine then having to rebuild that for every client engagement, that's an issue I found myself facing in my business dev3lop.com.
While building technology, I realized nearly every client needs the same situation. Fast website they can edit. They don't exactly what wix, squarespace, etc. but instead they want something a little different. j7.is lets you stream what you're writing to people you're editing with or just your following, as well as manages a ton of tech like your heat mapping, contact forms, and split testing. You can white label, and there's no strange walls/restrictions.
j7.is is the wedge I'm building that has every possible GTM/blogging/digital tool I can think of under one minimal hood. like short links, enabling fast action access to data enriched clicks to avoid sending large links to people and not being able to track anything. j7.is is enabling me to help clients, myself, and business ideas flourish without all the extra tech. collect vanity domain, build your fort, create contact pages, and improve digital workflows. Make a portfolio that isn't full of advertisements. lets go.
general Me, the sloth Jun 9, 2026
When it comes to BJJ, I'm learning the sloth is my favorite focus, and it's something I'm learning to master in life. Being 100% intense about everything, has it helped you? Maybe 20% would do. Save your energy for a big fight. Try less.
While I'm healing from a knee to the face, and preparing for a dental visit/bill. I'm taking on the role of the sloth. It's time to relax for a second. Heal.
The sloth at work..
I'm used to being hyper focused, slaying dragons fast, but found a lot of this is energy wasted. The sloth has time to think, strategic with efforts, and not a spaz. It's conserving energy for the right time.
Healing like a sloth
I've been waking up at 430am, working until 6am, BJJ until 8am, and getting injured nearly daily. I need more rest. Each day I'm taking naps, and sleeping in as much as I can fight the urge to wake up and fight. It's been difficult to not pour time into heavy bag or finding time to go to BJJ. Just need to heal, taking a knee to the face slowed me down, need to get that fixed and get a mouth guard to manage the future bumps.
general While building a post, make a page! Jun 8, 2026
The sky is the limit, posts are just the beginning of what makes a website great.
While you are creating a post now in J7, simply delete the category and it automatically creates a page. This will also manage the slug removing the category parent child relationship. This also removes it from your recent posts, it won’t show up on your subdomain as a recent post, and is publicly accessible to others. It can be edited at the same time with other people using the edit link and can be split test with various heat maps per device size.
Pages, and posts included also now have the ability to track a conversion across the split test. Think A, B, C... all the same slug and randomized amongst visits to help understand what page is best conversion. This can be great for improving your landing pages in a simplistic manner.
j7.is is many cool apps in one
Usually what I'm suggesting is spread across 4 applications, and in j7.is it's all happening at once. Think about it. Heat mapping, contact application, where the lead goes, split testing,.. in j7.is you can do all of that in once place. Also, split testing lets you randomize and auto choose what works best and converts better. Something to think about before releasing your next piece.
general J7 is looking fly Jun 8, 2026
Okay Mobile is starting to look really clean, but if you see any bugs please let me know on the lobbby 💬 or you can join the support chat channel. Thank you! 🙏
changelog Posts that play Jun 7, 2026
Some posts deserve a soundtrack. You can now drop a track straight into the body of a post. Also, every subdomain has the ability to have its own play list of 5 tracks. 25mbs or less, sorry dj mix will need to wait. Convert your wav to mp3 and release. The best sound cloud and MySpace alternative available.
The music block
Add + Music in the editor and pick from your playlist — the same tracks that ride along in your footer banner, no re-uploading. They render as an inline player right where you place them, with unlimited possibility ahead of us.
Good for a release note with a theme, a review with the actual song attached, or a post that's really just a vibe. The ux on mobile is also easy, fire. 🔥
Press play
That's two off the current playlist. Add your own in Studio → Music, then sprinkle them through your posts.
