general BJJ with super heavy weights Jun 25, 2026
bjj with someone bigger than you is exhausting but so is life and I'm in love with the difficulty. I was a mop, giving me a reason to avoid training here... Injury lasting this long, not great, still in pain today but that’s what happens when you’re sparing super heavy weights. Some stretches help but ultimately going to get smashed and no matter how flexible you think you are. It’s going to get pressed further. Any weakness in your skills, sacrifice you. Sacrifice throws and sweeps, momentum changes have been the only way I had a moment. This was my first time with someone in the 300lb space, and if it wasn't for previous training weeks prior, I would have been a pancake.
My back hurts
Lucky to have an instructor in North Austin, taking good care of me, and teaching me the ropes.
general Fable Days are Gone? Or Does Fable Live In Opus 4.8? Jun 18, 2026
Fable gave us a touch of what I believe is a high quality opus 4.8 with better directions. Fable was the first LLM to really power through audits in a way I've never seen before, however... have you asked opus 4.8 to orchestrate agents? I think fable lives here.
Based on testing across the past few weeks, does seem opus 4.8, when instructed, will touch the sun like fable. Opus 4.8 is fable but not as directed. Therefore, ask it to orchestrate 10-20 agents next time you ask it to get busy.
gaming Fable Created an Elaborate Game from Scratch Jun 14, 2026
I'm working on a game where I'm able to create sand, around water using webGL, and this is the area in www.busydreaming.com that I wasn't able to manage until FABLE. Fable is the LLM that was available for a few days before the GOV told anthropic they have to shut it off for foreign people which is a big part of their company. In my opinion, government intervention should have happened a long time ago, however just getting involved when one LLM company is doing good does seem suspect for the current state of the news.
Besides the politics, 3k lines of code, and I have the best ocean and sand driving game I've ever seen on the web. How it did this in about 3k lines of code is beyond me. I've been studying the files and I'm really impressed by how compressed the logic appears to be. Fable created this driving game, and today I've been using opus 4.8 ultracode to add suspension and even custom GLB/OBJ additions.
Things are coming through a bit scrambled, to be expected, this wasn't fable helping me! I'm hijacking what fable created, and using genAI to create everything. So far it's coming along, suspension was a big deal, lucky to get opus doing independent suspension per wheel. That's a cool feature, looks great, will take some tweaking to feel amazing..
omg tire tracks
The tire tracks really make this game fun, and I'm hopeful to see multiplayer come together too. The sand physics are amazing. Fable did a great job. The tire marks... I can't get enough... it makes the game feel great to just drive, explore, loop around, repeat and I love the idea of drawing on sand, even the family enjoyed doing it, from 4 to 40. The sand slowly heals itself over time too. Imagine a few friends zipping around the dunes in these bad boys.
Lately, tweaking the per wheel suspension, and gravity/jump abilities. It's a lot of fun. Nearly there.
Getting the texture right, it was reversed?
Texture was in reverse, weird because older models never had this issue. Now that I have that figured out, I'm seeing more matchy matchy results.
general Fable 1 shot the ocean Jun 12, 2026
Everyone has been talking about Fable. So I put it up to the test. How far are you with water. Well, I'm floored. 1 prompt and I have an entire ocean. This looks so much better than my previous attempts to do water. Excited to explore more. Did this from scratch.
After further inspection, I learned that the ocean was simply copy pasted from shadertoys.com, which is a pretty exciting discovery because I’ve never seen this website before and know that Web GL is rather complex
general Dentist Success Jun 10, 2026
I'm a huge baby about going to the dentist, however today was a good day. I'm still alive. BJJ or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has made me a lot harder to these kinds of situations. Toughened me up for the occasion. BJJ is a self defense material art that I'm pursuing right now, taking privates from masters of the art, and sparing with them too. My last sparing session ended in me breaking my tooth, going to the dentist to get it removed, and today was getting a temporary crown placed. Still my mouth is numb, but it's coming back. Faint pain. However, I'm comfortable. This used to really drain me, however BJJ has just made me a lot more water than I ever expected. It's cool to see, off the mats, how bjj has helped me. Dentist work has always been a big fear for me, growing up had a lot of surgery in my mouth, braces, a spacer, and just never caught a good break. Glad to be able to face the fear today, with just a little gas!
